SPARK YOUR WARRIOR GODDESS

1. SEEK CLARITY & PURPOSE

Warrior Goddesses live their lives with distinction. They learn to create a solid foundation that helps them become a better version of themselves.

So how do you spark your warrior goddess?

You start by seeking clarity about who you are and what you stand for.

You must be crystal clear about your core values. Your core values will establish a strong foundation.

This foundation will define you as a person and as a business.

Now more than ever, people want authenticity and transparency.

It’s how you stand out from your competitors.

And when you stand out this helps you build self-efficacy. Self-efficacy is the personal belief you have in your abilities to meet or exceed challenges ahead.

  • Do you believe you have the ability to succeed with any endeavor?
  • Do you have a solid foundation and know exactly what you want out of life?

Why or why not?

My recommendation is that you begin by seeking clarity.

“Clarity about who you are, what you stand for, and defining what your purpose in life is.”

Not having clarity creates intrinsic friction, and this friction leads to frustration.

If you are a woman entrepreneur, and find yourself being overwhelmed, overworked and overstressed then you need to seek clarity, and purpose.

Uncertainty keeps you stuck makes you unconfident and fuels fear.

Sometimes it’s a small shift in the right direction that can make a tremendous difference.

What is one thing you can do at this moment to make you feel more significant? Significance in the sense that you are making a GENEROUS contribution?

Seeking clarity enables you to understand your purpose.

And when your purpose is magnified you are unstoppable!

Clarity taps into the best version of yourself because you are in alignment with what comes natural. And when you honor that clarity it can boost you to high performance.

It’s an internal standard that makes you differentiate yourself from the old you. It’s a habit that is internalized with greater practice.

As a leader, it leads to confidence and assertiveness.

With that being said, my question to you is?

“How much longer will you live your life without clarity?”

“How much longer will you live aimlessly without any direction or goals?”

Without clarity you will be frazzled and have no direction in life. Moreover, you will be easy manipulated by the environment or external factors.

Pay close attention, this is happening to most people.

They are walking zombies because they have disconnected from the present and are easily manipulated by a smart-phone, environmental factors or uncertainty.

But you know deep in your heart, you are different. You want a framework that is in alignment with the person you wish to become.

Clarity holds you accountable. It enables you to look at your life through a holistic approach, but you know exactly what you must achieve.

Clarity further helps you ask these specific questions and helps you find solutions so you can stay in the fight.

  • “Where are you with your business and are you engaged with your ideal client?”
  • “Are you making the money you deserve?”
  • “Are you healthy, happy, and hopeful for more?”

If not, let me give it to you straight. Clarity is a DECISION to move forward.

So what are you waiting for? This is your entry point.

2. SUSTAINABLE SELF-CARE

The healthiest relationship you can have in life, is with yourself, and it starts with self-care.

Honor this relationship because it’s crucial to all areas of your life.

It affects your mental, physical and emotional state of mind.

Practicing self-care sparks positivity, which then fuels your self-esteem and confidence. Self-confidence reinforces your self-worth and this helps you honor your clarity.

When you disregard your self-care your personal needs are nonexistent. You are too busy focusing on other areas that you ignore the most important person in your life.

Self-care is recognizing that your needs are the most important needs without feeling guilt or remorse.

That you have a vested responsibility for taking care of your needs first. If not, you know deep in your heart it will lead to frustration because your needs are not a priority.

Start paying close attention to how you feel.

Have you ever felt any of the following:

  • anxiousness
  • frustration
  • hopelessness
  • overwhelm
  • overworked
  • depression

If so, please know that you are not alone and you must take action immediately.

These are symptoms that you are lacking self-care rituals.

These rituals become sustainable habits and they help you generate energy so you can endure life stressors and its challenging demands.

Be careful, when you experience any of these symptoms because they can negatively affect your morale, health, and happiness.

I experienced a few as a result of not having self-care rituals.

In the Summer of 2010, I ended up in the emergency room with chest pain. The chest pain I experienced that day was so scary because I had never experienced that type of discomfort before.

I thought I was experiencing anxiety but the preferential treatment I got that day, led me to believe it was something more serious.

It was a low point in my life because I felt like my breathing was being restricted.

The tightness in my chest had slowly intensified and I knew that I was becoming a victim of life’s circumstances.

I knew I had developed bad eating habits, and the stressors as a result of my lifestyle were affecting me in the worst way.

I remember thinking, “I’m way too young to be experiencing this. I’m only 35 years old!”

That victim mentality made me feel sorry for myself. And I started thinking about my kids, my future, and what would happen if my kids had to go on without a mother?

How sad it would be for my daughter’s to live without their mother. All because I had incorporated bad habits.

That day, in the emergency room, I felt alone and no one was there to comfort me or reassure me that everything was going to be ok.

A nurse quickly gave me instructions to place a small pill  underneath my tongue.

Within seconds, I noticed the tightness in my chest had immediately subsided.

“I could instantly breathe and felt my chest cavity open up. I realized that day, that something had to change in my life.”

I was overstressed, overworked, and overweight, and something had to change if I wanted to experience different results in my life.

The first thing was having self-awareness about what needed to change.

That experience made me realize the importance of self-care habits.

“Self-care is the first form of self-defense. It helps you fight stress and boosts your productivity levels.”

Think about it?

Disregarding your self care is allowing stress to permeate throughout your body like a venomous toxin.

Disengaging from self-care can sabotage your important areas of your life because you are disregarding your basic needs.

A warrior goddess understands this difference.

She is her main priority, and this enables her to fill up her love tank so she can properly take care of her family and professional demands without suppressing her needs.

You are ultimately responsible for your personal happiness and making sure you are taking care of yourself before you take care of anyone else.

This is self-care 101. Be kind to yourself, and do not engage in self-destructive activities.

Self-care is knowing

  • how to stay motivated
  • what gives you momentum
  • practicing daily rituals
  • fortifies self-worth
  • how to relax, and rejuvenate

Practicing self-care is self-love and it conveys to the world how much you care about yourself.

It’s a starting point in sustaining self-esteem and self-efficacy.

“How do you expect to help others when you haven’t expressed interest in yourself?”

As a role model, visionary, and leader you must incorporate self care into your equation.

Especially if you have a family, and a business. It further reinforces to them that you come first and that’s ok because it teaches them habits that help you promote calmness.

Self-care is a prerequisite for an effective leader.

As a leader, you are positively showing your sphere of influence how to channel stress, and practice rituals that help you reduce the harmful effects of stress.

Show them how it’s done!

Be the example you wish to see in them.

As a “worrier,” I realized I was missing the most important facet of life, my self-care rituals.

Don’t fall prey to bad habits. If I can do it, you can do it too!

Slowly incorporate self-care rituals that will catapult you forward.

The goal is to become a “Warrior not a Worrier” and self-care is a high-caliber habit.

3. SIMPLIFY SUCCESSFUL HABITS

Habits are daily behaviors we develop that automatically help us carry out essential tasks or activities.

My question to you is, “Have you developed successful habits that help you move the needle in life and business?”

Why or why not?

One thing you can do immediately is self-analyze why you are not making forward progress.

When coaching my clients, this is one of the things we work on. We work on simplifying successful habits.

I encourage them to forgive themselves and focus on the solution.

So what is the solution you ask?

Focus on simplifying your life by creating high caliber habits.

Learn to incorporate the right habits in your life that give you the results you seek.

“The right habits have the potential to strengthen your character and enhance your productivity. Habits set the tone of your life.”

By the way, “How are your current habits working out?”

  • Are they challenging you?
  • Are you experiencing meaningful moments with loved ones?
  • Are you experiencing financial growth and bigger risks?

Habits are basic building blocks that help you reach your goal.

A strong foundation of healthy habits will transform your

  • physiology
  • psychology
  • productivity
  • people skills

The right habits and goals give your life direction and they serve as a strong foundation.

That day in the emergency room as I experienced tightness in my chest, I knew my habits had to change. I had to shift my trajectory and assume responsibility for my life.

It’s the best decision I’ve ever made and I was able to lose 25 lbs. and transform my life through one high caliber habit.

It has given me a strong foundation about who I am, and what I want out of life.

Think about it for a moment?

What will happen if you don’t set your sights on big goals? You will live a mediocre life and this way of life will dampen your motivation and spirit.

Don’t let this happen to you! You have so much to offer.

Not building successful habits will lead to randomness.

You will be easily distracted because you have not taken the time to find out what makes you SOAR, and what helps you revitalize so you can keep striving.

Moreover, not having healthy habits or goals in place will make you vulnerable and you will become a worrier and not a warrior.

The right habits and goals spark positive behavior.

It helps you simplify and focus on something you desire for your life and business.

It’s internal drive or direction to get you to take automatic action.

That’s why habits are powerful because they move you toward your goals.

Goals take you through a journey and how you strengthen yourself through this journey is what makes it remarkable.

Just so you know, it’s not really about the destination.

It’s about the person you become because of the process. It’s what you learn through the journey that matters.

Oh, and by the way, all you really need is ONE habit. When you diligently practice this one habit, it becomes a “keystone habit.”

This high-caliber habit has the power to create a ripple effect.

“If you focus on results you will never change, but if you focus on CHANGE you will get results.”

Having structure or a system in place is creating successful habits. If you don’t have structure, or a specific routine, you will find yourself drifting back into default mode.

Inadvertently, you will find yourself doing the same habitual behaviors that are not conducive to your new way of life.

Without a high-caliber habit you will be misguided. This mismanagement will lead you to distraction, and because you lack clarity you are not achieving meaningful momentum.

The right habits help you build self-efficacy so you can achieve worthwhile goals.

The key to success is building the right habits that keep you focused on attaining your goals.

I recommend you practice some of the habits listed below:

  1. single-minded focus & concentration
  2. time management
  3. exercise & proper nutrition
  4. attitude of gratitude
  5. mindfulness

These are fundamental habits that support you in reaching your objective.

Every entrepreneur needs time-management habits in order to be successful right?

Why would you be any different?

The decisions and actions you make on a daily basis become your habits.

If you are still reading this I encourage you to schedule a self-discovery session with me. It’s a complimentary session, and you have invested time and attention into reading this blog and it’s the least I can do to support you in your journey.

Here’s a humble suggestion that has helped me transform my life and business.

Adopt more curiosity in life.

“A warrior goddess seeks curiosity not certainty.”

  • Will you be curious and develop successful habits?
  • Will you continue on the same path that leads to certainty?

Listen, I’m gonna give you a little secret, you are already self-disciplined.

It’s the system that you currently have in place that is hindering your progress or helping you move towards what you really desire.

There is a mental shift when you decide to take action.

Successful habits help you harness and experience more growth.

Your habits should support your growth. Are you picking the right ones? Remember, you become what you do on a daily basis.

How will you move forward today?

Not knowing how to navigate life can be a little daunting.

This is when you need to ask for help. This is when you need accountability. But it’s up to you to desire a strong foundation that gives you calmness, confidence, and peace of mind.

When starting successful habits, do you know what causes you to want to quit?

How do you eliminate this trigger?

These are questions, I can help you answer. Moreover, you are responsible for the energy you generate and how you channel that energy will dictate if you become successful.

Speaking of energy, habits help you sustain momentum when your motivation and willpower have been depleted.

Because you will eventually lose motivation and willpower.

When this happens what will you do?

A new mindset is required for this step.

4. SAFEGUARD WARRIOR’S MINDSET

Have willingness to look within and acknowledge who or what is sabotaging your progress.

Most of the time it’s self-sabotage.

and it may be camouflaged as

  • self-doubt
  • overthinking
  • perfectionism
  • procrastination
  • imposter syndrome

You might be thinking you are different because some days you lack motivation, dwell on perfectionism or even feel like a fraud.

This is a fixed mindset and it will make you believe that:

  • I’m different from everybody else
  • I’m not worthy.

Please know that, it’s a mindset issue. You are not alone, and you can totally fix this!

Your mindset is your lethal weapon.

It’s the strongest weapon in your arsenal. And as a Warrior Goddess this is the strongest muscle you possess.

Will you strengthen this mindset with a flexible perspective or will you succumb to mediocrity and have a fixated view.

The choice is up to you!

Your mindset is the first thing we need to work on if you wish to create change or achieve positive results.

Power comes to those who wish to explore through curiosity, and those who practice introspection.

Learn to tell your feelings how you feel and what you want out of life. Motivation and direction is everything!

Safeguard your positivity and what you feed your mind.

When you force yourself to go to the gym or focus on a difficult project, it’s your mindset at work. It’s strengthening your willpower to carry on this new behavior.

“Of course motivation is not permanent. But then, neither is bathing; but it is something you should do on a regular basis.” ~Zig Ziglar

The most important challenge you can embrace in life is the challenge to be better.

Seek personal growth by changing your mindset. Warrior Goddesses understand that this step is crucial and necessary.

Convince yourself that you can, and you will make small progress in the pursuit of something meaningful.

A flexible mindset is having belief in yourself. Everyone can grow through consistent practice.

“Failure is not a reflection of your character. It’s simply a measuring tool for you to keep going.”

There are two types of people in this world:

Worriers and Warriors

Worriers – are reactive vice proactive. They allow life circumstances to dictate how they should live and what they should feel. They are easily manipulated and have a fixed mentality.

Warriors – reach heightened levels of peak performance. They profoundly influence their motivation and do not sabotage their lives with self-defeat, distractions, doubt or procrastination. They choose to cultivate a flexible mindset.

We all want to feel significant like we made a difference in this life.

“Don’t you?”

Those thoughts are manifested as we focus on our habits, goals, and stretch our expectations.

Be a warrior, with a warrior’s mindset. One who has a flexible mindset and takes action in order to learn, seek clarity and experience something new. Seek a strong motive (goal) then take (action).

A strong motive coupled with action equates to motivation. You can’t create a meaningful life, if you don’t have a clear understanding of meaning.

“Meaning comes as a result of us changing our mindset. We realize that we have a moral obligation to ourselves and to fulfill our life’s purpose.”

There is no clarity on your life’s purpose right now because you have not given your life direction.

But trust me on this one, the answers reside within you.

Bring into fruition your life’s purpose by making a decision and taking action. You can use your mindset to improve your mind, mood, happiness, and performance.

You need a mindset that will help you employ a framework that helps you fight distraction, negativity and interruptions because they affect your health and productivity.

Distractions will keep you stagnant and stifle your self-belief.

Moreover, do not be constrained by your beliefs, it’s time you challenge the status quo. Start with your mindset, you are capable of changing your life but it’s really up to you.

Will you live life with a fixed mindset or will you accept a new framework that reinvigorates your mind, body and soul?

My recommendation is to have a flexible mindset. A flexible way of looking at your circumstances can give you a different perspective.

A flexible mindset can help you control your emotions before they take over and control your behavior.

Your emotional state can help you or destroy you. Let’s manage your emotions through a warrior’s mindset so you can take action and enhance your productivity.

A simple task would be for you to be mindful of how you interact with those you love on a daily basis.

“Mindfulness trains your mind and gives you self-awareness.”

In the beginning, it’s not easy to keep your mindset in check, that is why you need a coach, mentor or support network through this process.

This is why I help women weaponize themselves so they can be vigilant, and victorious.

5. SELFLESS ACTION

What you need to do is take selfless action! The right action in the direction of your goals. Taking action is applying everything you’ve learned in life and then executing.

Trust me, you’ve learned a lot and I can help you tap into that wisdom.

Life is about trial and error and I would be honored to facilitate you through this process.

The hardest part is taking that first step, but after that first step you start learning what works and what doesn’t work.

Taking action is the first step in creating change. Get comfortable with the uncomfortable.

There will never be the right time or the right opportunity in life. You have to create it. Why not now?

If you wait, you will regret not taking action sooner.

Maybe you lack values and don’t know how to prioritize? Therefore, you can’t take action?

Seeking clarity and purpose, helps you clarify what you value and why. Or maybe anytime you are contemplating change, you are plagued with fear?

Be careful with what you may be experiencing.

Analysis paralysis is a form of fear that keeps you stagnant. It halts you dead in your tracks and does not let you move forward and experience growth.

Don’t let fear rear its ugly head. It will consume your joy and rob you of the life you are destined to live. Moreover, don’t fool yourself and say you are too busy.

There is a difference between being incredibly busy and making meaningful progress. Remember, you seek the latter.

Busy work makes you unhappy because you tend to multi-task, and your health is compromised along the way.

Progress seems non-existent because you are in a vicious cycle and soon you find yourself in a rat race.

The goal is to be happier, less-stressed and be rewarded along the way but somehow this feeling eludes you?

Am I right or am I right?

What you don’t clearly understand right now, is how to stay happily engaged, and fiercely focus on productive and meaningful goals.

What you seek is proper balance and change in some areas of your life.

My recommendation is for you to take the road less traveled.

I’ve been down that road and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life! Think about it?

  • What areas of your life require changes?
  • Would you benefit from a clear understanding of where you need to go?
  • Would you act and think differently if you found your life’s purpose?
  • If you had morning rituals and self-care habits that reinvigorated a more positive you would you be interested?
  • And if you developed successful habits that helped you manifest greater goals in life would you even try?

Pay attention as you read this blog. Are your thoughts generally optimistic or pessimistic?

This will leave you clues, and 80% of our success comes from our mindset, and it’s time to take a deeper look into what is causing you to remain stagnant.

Starting today, change your attitude, and negative self-talk.

Be hungry for change, and modify your attitude towards everything that has happened in your life.

It is a stepping stone, a learning process that has brought you here to me! From this point, you must be receptive and allow setbacks, failure and feedback to guide you.

That’s right you need positive reinforcement.

All these years you have been misinterpreting, and have given failure a negative connotation.

All along it’s actually been the greatest teacher that has been assisting you every step of the way.

Stop playing small! Make a decision, and take action!

Schedule a self-discovery session with me so we can create that extraordinary life you seek as an unstoppable warrior goddess.
